Letter From the Designer
First off, if you made it this far, I just want to thank you. What you're seeing here is actually, after 2-3 years of studying and many failed shadow realm projects, my first ever publicly released project that I've coded from the ground up. And I know it's just a simple portfolio, but I really tried to do something different while still giving an A1 user experience. So, I hope you enjoyed (If there were any bugs, please let me know!).Just so I'm not a complete mystery, my name is Xavier. I have been with a pencil and paper in my hand since I don't know when, it's really been that long. As a professional freelance designer and serious student of design, I have 6+ years of experience. It all started when I thought I knew better than college, so I set off to do it on my own. What I didn't realize was I was going to get those lessons hammered into me anyways by the school of life! Anyways, I'm laugh at my pain and you can too, but at the other side I gained extensive knowledge in branding, design concepts, and most importantly what it means to be a designer. If it wasn't obvious, I specialize in illustrative/POP-py mascot design. Though I have experience in many areas and styles like, retro 70s and 80s futuristic design, rustic/vintage design, and clean/clinic geometric design to name a few. I've worked on all sorts of projects from logos to physical products to websites. I'm especially skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, but I do have experience in After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and I'm working to make Blender part of the tool belt. I primarily know coding for the TypeScript React framework (which obvious include strong fundementals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), however I am also a Python enjoyer as well so I've dabbled in the backend technologies Django and Django's Rest API offer. Before I go on to tell you my life story let me end this whole thing with this. My ultimate lesson from everything and what it means to be a designer, all essentially comes down to "What it the problem?" and "What are the best tools to solve the problem?" If you need help with a problem, I have the tools.
Best regards,

Xavier Bodus
